Champion Gemswin Perhaps Love " Slipper" owned by Jan Farrant and Lauren Vincent. Slipper has 12 ccs and 8 rccs, she was the top winning Flat Coat in 2000 and in 2006 aged 12 years she was retired from the show ring after winning veteran at Crufts and Best Veteran in Show at the Flat Coated Retriever Club Show, she was a legend!

  1st     Vincent & Farrent,  CH Gemswin Perhaps Love.   12 years of age . One of my all time favourite bitches.   My co- judge and I had no hesitation in making her Best Veteran in Show. She retires today. Beautiful head and expression. Still well put together  the epitome of the breed standard. He coat is a little wayward but one can forgive this. She still show and moves with style and elegance. To watch her move even at 12 years of age, is a joy, it should be a lesson to any up and coming breeder to strive for the correct front extension one is looking for in a “correct” Flatcoat forequarter.  This smooth easy ground covering gait in our Flatcoats  is sadly found today.
