Hi!

We are Gemma Jacobs and Sue Knight, a mother and daughter team who along with Mark Jacobs are the owners of the Gemswin affix.

 After time spent puppy walking for guide dogs and training crossbreeds for obedience it was time to get a "proper" dog!

Hatti was our first Flat Coat and we were hooked!

She was shortly followed by Fossi and we were bitten by the showing bug!

We were very fortunate that in Hatti's 2nd litter she produced the top winning Champion Gemswin Perhaps Love

We strive to breed fit, healthy and typy Flat Coated Retrievers ( and more latterly Border Terriers) and offer a full lifetimes advise for any new puppy owners!

Gemma is  a championship show judge and serves on the show and judges commitee of the Flat Coated Retriever Society, and on the commitee of the Southern Flat Coated Retriever Club.

Sue is the local authority animla warden and regularly judges Kennel Club good citizen tests.
