Ch Gemswin Perhaps Love 

I’m writing with the sad news that CH Gemswin Perhaps Love, known to all her friends as Slipper, was put to sleep on the 2^nd of January 2008.  At nearly 14 years of age Slipper had an extraordinary life and a very successful show career. 

Owned by Jan Farrant and Lauren Vincent she won 12 CC ,8 RCCs with 3 group placings including a group 1 win at South Wales, Slipper went on to be top Flat Coated Retriever in 2000.  She was very high regarded by some of our top breed specialists. 

  Slipper retired from the show ring in April 2006 having won Best Veteran in show at the Flatcoated Retriever Breed Show and winning veteran bitch at Crufts.

 Lauren showed Slipper in the ring and Slipper always showed her heart out, never once letting her down, she was an absolute pleasure to show.  Together they made a great team winning many handling classes, including winning their handling class at Crufts.

  Slipper was a very special lady indeed, a once in a lifetime dog.
